Les dirigeants des coopératives agricoles et autres organisations en cité et territoire d’Uvira doivent impérativement associer les femmes dans leur gestion quotidienne. Cet appel est ressorti dans une formation sur le leadership féminin tenue dans cette partie de la province du Sud-Kivu. Pendant deux jours, l’agence agricole néerlandaise AGRITERRA a outillé une vingtaine des participants dont 16 femmes et 8 hommes sur l’apport de la femme dans ces entreprises de développement communautaire.
Ces hommes et femmes sont venus de quatre Coopératives bénéficiaires des appuis de l’ONG AGRITERRA. Il s’agit de la Coopérative pour la Commercialisation Performante des Aliments de base COOPABA et la Coopérative de production de Riz Tuungane COOPRITU œuvrant à Sange. Sur la liste figure également la Coopérative de solidarité pour la production de denrées alimentaires COOSOPRODA de Luberizi et la Coopérative agricole Mashaka de Kilomoni COOPAMAK.
A l’issu de cette formation, les participants disent comprendre les rapports homme-femme et la manière dont cela influence le bon fonctionnement de leurs coopératives. C’est une précision de Monsieur Yves MAMBO, Gérant de la COOPRITU de Sange :
Croire à la faillite d’une coopérative ou son échec car dirigée par une femme est une pensée erronée explique Madame Joséphine BAGAMIKE, membre de la Coopérative pour la commercialisation performante des aliments de base COOPABA. Pour elle, l’intégration massive des femmes cultivatrices élève davantage plusieurs entreprises Agricoles.
Les femmes ne devraient pas être des figurantes au sein d’une Coopérative, renchérit Béatrice BITEMA, membre de la Coopérative agricole Mashaka de Kilomoni COOPAMAK.
Pour Eugénie KAVUGHO MASTAKI, conseillère en entreprise Coopérative Agricole et formatrice sur le leadership féminin chez AGRITERRA, les femmes ne participent pas parfaitement aux activités des coopératives compte tenu des plusieurs stéréotypes. D’où les besoins, selon les Coopératives agricoles de la plaine de Ruzizi d’organiser cette formation pour que les leaders féminins accompagnés des certains leaders masculins définissent les stratégies pour rendre effective la participation de la femme dans les organes de décision des coopératives.
Signalons que la tenue de cette activité s’inscrit dans le cadre du projet Transition pour le développement intégré dans l’Est de la RDC “TRIDE”, projet exécuté conjointement par les organisations, AGRITERRA, VNG International et ZOA au Nord et au Sud Kivu avec le financement de l’Ambassade des Pays-Bas à Kigali.
