Ici, il a remis un respirateur, un outil indispensable à cette structure sanitaire selon le Dr John Sebatware, médecin responsable du centre.
Le périple s’est poursuivi jusqu’au village Kabaya dans le groupement Kisigari. Sur place, plusieurs matériels médicaux ont été remis au centre de santé Kabaya. Il s’agit d’une table moderne d’accouchement, 10 lits d’hospitalisation avec matelas ainsi que des boîtes des matériels chirurgicaux. Une réjouissance de Nsekuye Jean Paul, IT du centre de santé Kabaya.
En compagnie du député provincial Dieudonné Komayombi, élu de Goma, également originaire de Rutshuru, ils ont tous deux honoré les factures de quelques femmes. Celles-ci venaient d’accoucher à ce centre de santé mais bloquées sur place fautes des moyens.
À Rugari son groupement natal et dans le souci de promouvoir la culture, le député Mutiri a tenu sa promesse en remettant des tenues et autres matériels au groupe culturel Umudiho de la place. Il a également remis une chaise pour le transport des malades. Ceci vient ainsi s’ajouter aux lits au couvent des sœur et à l’ambulance qui avait déjà fait l’objet d’une dotation en 2019 au centre de santé de référence de Rugari.
En cette période où la province du Nord-Kivu est placée sous un régime spécial de l’état de siège, le député national Elvis Mutiri a demandé aux habitants de Rutshuru à soutenir cette action du Chef de l’État en fournissant des renseignements nécessaires aux forces de défense et de sécurité. C’est à ce prix que la paix et la stabilité pourront être retrouvées au Nord-Kivu, a-t-il martelé. L’élu de Goma a, par la même occasion, sensibilisé la population à la stricte observance des gestes barrières en cette période où le pays fait face à la troisième vague du Coronavirus.
Dans son Rutshuru natal, le député Elvis Mutiri Wabashara s’est rendu au caveau funéraire de la famille Rwakabuba, à Ntamugenga, où il s’est incliné en mémoire de tous les membres de cette famille déjà décédés.
